Sometimes the procedures are ignored or may be forgotten because staff members may be hurried, inexperienced, untrained, or negligent. With some facilities minimizing staff, reducing training and failing to purchase the necessary equipment for patient safety, accidents happen.

Nearly 40 million motorists will be travelling over the long Thanksgiving weekend to spend time with family and friends. In fact, the Thanksgiving weekend is the most travelled holiday period of the year. Hit and run accidents continue to happen. Driving is a privilege, but with that privilege comes responsibility. If involved in an accident, drivers should not leave the scene. Another hit-and-run accident was reported by ABC2. A Lehigh Acres man was taken to the hospital after a hit-and-run crash October 7, 2015 along CR-884.
