Andrew Abel is an associate attorney at the Spivey Law Firm. He focuses his litigation practice on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death.
Andrew joined the Spivey Law Firm after practicing in a litigation firm in Miami, Florida focusing on litigation in Florida’s state and federal courts. He is admitted to the Bars of the State of Florida, the State of Ohio, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Andrew received his law degree cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law where he ranked in the top ten percent of his class and served as Managing Editor of the Law Review. Andrew was on the Dean’s List every semester, he received a Dean’s Merit Scholarship, and he was awarded Book Awards for the top grades in Appellate Advocacy and State & Local Government Law.
Andrew holds a business degree from Ohio University College of Business where he double majored in Marketing and Business law.
In addition to his litigation experience, Andrew brings a unique perspective from the bench having served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Adalberto Jordan in both the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and for the Honorable Mark King Leban in the Appellate Division of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.
