Randall Spivey, a Cape Coral personal injury lawyer, announced the firm’s continued VIP support of the Cape Coral “Shop With a Cop” holiday event to be held on December 21, 2020, at the Super Walmart on Del Prado Boulevard.

The Cape Coral F.O.P. Lodge #33 non-profit police organization conducts the “Shop With a Cop” program for less fortunate, foster care, and handicapped elementary school children in Lee County. There is no shortage of underprivileged children, and the Cape Coral F.O.P. attempts to increase the number of children involved every year. Not only do the children enjoy the experience, but the police officers also spend positive one-on-one time with the children of struggling Cape Coral families.

Because of the COVID pandemic, this year’s experience will be a little different. Parents are asked to drop their children off at 9 a.m. and pick them up at 11 a.m. Each child will sign in, receive a mask, and then meet their officer escort. The child’s assigned officer will stay with him/her the whole time as they both enjoy the holiday shopping experience and learn more about one another.
