We at Spivey Law Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.A., are pleased to join ABATE (American Bikers Aimed Toward Education), Southwest Chapter, a not-for-profit, safety, education and advocacy motorcyclist organization, in honoring our veterans in Charlotte County by sponsoring the 33rd annual Christmas Motorcycle Run. 

According to the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs 2011-2012 Annual Report, Florida has the third largest population of disabled veterans in the nation, with more than 259,000.   

On Sunday, December 22, 2013 ABATE, Southwest Chapter, will hold its 33rd annual Christmas Motorcycle Run from Sun Sports in Fort Myers to the Douglas J. Jacobson Veterans Home in Port Charlotte, home to approximately 135 veterans.

Beginning at 9:00 a.m. with registration at Sun Sports on Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, and motorcycle safety and awareness booths starting at 10:00 a.m., participating motorcyclists will grant Veteran wishes by bringing donations to them at the Port Charlotte government-owned nursing home.
