Spivey Law Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.A. is pleased to announce that Attorney Andrew Abel has been selected as a 2018 Florida Rising Star.

Only 2.5 percent of the attorneys in Florida are named to Rising Stars by the lawyer rating selection committee at Super Lawyers. Attorneys are rated in more than 70 practice areas.

Being selected as a Florida Rising Star is a multi-phased, rigorous process.  An attorney must be nominated by his or her peers, and each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made annually on a state-by-state basis.

Attorney Abel is an associate attorney at Spivey Law Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.A. in Fort Myers, Florida. His litigation practice is focused on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death. Prior to joining the firm, Andrew was with a Miami, Florida firm focusing on litigation in the Florida state and federal courts. He is admitted to the Bars in the States of Florida, Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Attorney Abel received his law degree cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law ranking in the top ten percent of his class and served as Managing Editor of the Law Review. Andrew was on the Dean’s List every semester, a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient, and was awarded Book Awards for top grades in Appellate Advocacy and State & Local Government Law.
