Collier County, FL (May 25, 2020)  The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said a man was seriously injured after a hit-and-run crash on Immokalee Drive and Charlie Court in Immokalee.

A vehicle veered into the path of a 39-year-old male bicyclist as he was riding his bike approaching the intersection of Charlie Court. According to FHP, the right side mirror of the vehicle hit the man. He was thrown from his bike, and the vehicle drove away without stopping.

FHP believes the vehicle may be a Ford make and is possibly an SUV or pickup truck.

FHP would like anyone with information on the driver or the crash to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
