Once again, Spivey Law Firm is proud to provide support for the 2025 “Cops and Kids” shopping trip for the holidays. This program is run by the Cape Coral Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #33. Active and retired police officers work with members of our local community in Cape Coral and the rest of Lee County. The goal of this non-profit organization is to take over two hundred children from local foster care, children with disabilities, and less fortunate children shopping for their holiday needs. 

The holidays are supposed to be a time of joy and happiness, but for some people they are challenging. The goal of the “Cops and Kids” holiday program is to take the stress out of the holidays for local children. Because many local families struggle during the holidays to provide gifts for their children, the Cape Coral Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #33 helps families enjoy the holidays. Police officers from the Cape Coral Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #33 personally take these children shopping for clothing, toys, shoes, and much more.

Giving Back to the Children of Cape Coral

The Cape Coral Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #33 depends exclusively on donations to make this event happen. They also host a back-to-school shopping trip for the children in the community as well as giving out scholarships to local children to help them thrive in their education. The children get paired with a police officer who personally escorts them while shopping to select things they want and need for the holidays. In the past, there have been hundreds of children who have enjoyed the time with the law enforcement officers and were grateful for what they received.
