Spivey Law Firm Supports the 2019 “Shop with a Cop Back to School” Program

These children have a difficult time handling day-to-day challenges, and it becomes even more difficult for them to prepare for a new school year. This is why Spivey Law Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.A. supports the Cape Coral Fraternal Order of Police 2019 ‘Shop with a Cop Back to School’ program,” said Attorney Randall Spivey.
The Cape Coral Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #33 is a non-profit local police organization which works for the mutual benefit of the citizens of Cape Coral and Lee County. The ‘Shop with a Cop Back to School’ program focuses on the community’s less fortunate, including those in foster care and handicapped elementary school children. Police officers personally escort the children when shopping for school clothes, shoes, socks, under clothing, school supplies, and book bags. The officers participating say it warms their hearts to see the children’s eyes light up during the shopping trip.
The Cape Coral Fraternal Order of Police says, “Our Cops and Kids Back to School shopping trip is dependent on private donations for funding. Unfortunately there is no shortage of needy children in Lee County, and we attempt to increase the number of children involved every year.”
