The Forest County Club, Fort Myers will again be the site of ‘Wild About CROW’, the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife’s (CROW’s) annual fundraiser. The gala will be on January 10, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.

CROW has served Southwest Florida’s wildlife for over 50 years. Its mission, as a teaching hospital and visitor education center, is to save wildlife through state-of-the-art veterinary care, research, education, and conservation medicine. CROW is one of our nation’s leading rehabilitation facilities for native and migratory wildlife.

CROW treats over 6,000 patients each year that include injured, sick, or orphaned wildlife. Volunteers dedicate thousands of hours to helping rescue, rehabilitate, and release wildlife. CROW also has educational fellowships and externship programs for students and veterinarian graduates.

The ‘Wild About CROW’ event is for animal enthusiasts who support CROW’s mission of wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. This year, funds raised are dedicated to a critical project for the major renovation and upgrade to CROW’s Visitor Education Center. Public education is at the forefront of CROW’s mission. The upgraded Visitor Education Center will offer an opportunity to experience the journey of wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and release, and include daily presentations, children’s camps, speaker series, and interactive workshops.

The Visitor Education Center is also the home of animal ambassadors who are part of the education team. The animal ambassadors include owls, snakes, and turtles. Each of CROW’s animal ambassadors help to bring visitors closer to appreciation of local wildlife and education of how CROW helps various species of animals.
